Sorry about the prolonged absence, things have been a little crazy in my personal life as the end of the semester drew closer, but I wanted to go ahead an pop by with a few updates just to make sure you all know I’m still alive.

First off, great job everyone! Your continued support has shown Bioware just how dedicated we are and has prompted them to take action! Ending DLC has been promised, and I know I won’t be the only one eagerly awaiting the release!

Second, an official update on the Facebook page likes which is now a whopping 64,885. That right there is pretty decent number, certainly one that will make sure Bioware know how dedicated a large number of their fans are to the cause. 

And as far as the third update goes, I mostly just wanted to post a reminder. This movement never was, and never will be intended to be a conduit for negativity. We need to represent our movement with maturity and integrity. Lots of people thing very critically of the Retake Mass Effect movement as it is, and I don’t want to see anyone giving them any reasons to do so. We can discuss any topic or argument with a calm and level approach. There’s no need for the fans on opposing sides to be at each other’s throats over this, whether they support Retake Mass Effect or not.

Anyway, that’s it for now. Thank you for your continued support, despite my disappearance. Keep up the good fight, and remember, play nice. c:

Collecting a consensus (hah) about information like this is very important if we want our campaign to be effective. Cast your vote!

PHASE TWO IS HERE!!! Previously we have been focusing on recruitment, and spreading the word about. While that needs to continue I feel that with well over 10,000 supporters we can start doing more.

1. A letter campaign. There’s nothing like a good old fashioned letter campaign. Physical letters can often mean a lot more than digital ones. I’d like everyone who is willing and able to compose a letter to send to Bioware (just them for the moment).

Letters need to be short, and simple. Highlight why you are writing to them, and what you are asking for. Do not suggest ideas for a new ending other than in vague terms.
BE POLITE AND COURTEOUS. If it wouldn’t be in a Disney cartoon it shouldn’t be in your letter.

DO NOT send the letters out yet. There will be a single release date, so Bioware knows we are organized.

add: #RetakeMassEffect somewhere in your letter, so they know we are all in this together.

Can’t send a physical letter? Email works, same rules as above.

I will be attempting to attach a link to our new (well will be new as soon as it’s created) PayPal account.

Donations will be used to further the cause of the #RetakeMassEffect movement (like getting a website professionally created).

I’m not asking for your life saving, more like whatever you found lying on the sidewalk or in your couch cushions.

I will attempt to make all financial arrangements as transparent as possible. However there is no way for me to guarantee 100% transparency. I understand entirely if that bothers you, and wont hold it against anyone in the slightest.

Best I can do is promise I wont take your money and buy myself a private island somewhere…scratch that if we raise that much money I’ll probably do just that, but only after we get the ending we deserve…or monsoon season, whichever comes first.

3. Send your ideas for a new ending to:

Emails should focus on your greatest wants for a new ending. Highlight them in NO MORE than 10 bullet points.

I don’t want stories, just short, sweet suggestions.

Retake Mass Effect Movement, now with a Female Shepard variant cover! The momentum we are gaining is staggering, guys. The original post I made to gather support is just short of 500 notes! Also, remember that little Facebook page I mentioned? The amount of likes have grown to 3,388 since my last update. That’s amazing.

But we can do even better than that, can’t we guys? If we really want to get Bioware’s attention, we need to get that number up much higher. I can’t stress this enough, spread the word. Millions of people bought Mass Effect 3 and I’m sure plenty of them are just as upset.
